A SIP OF HEAVEN ON EARTH!

In the Benedictine monastery in Fischingen, the PILGRIM team brews exceptional gourmet beers by hand using old, traditional recipes with today's knowledge and technology.

Tradition and taste combined

For our beers we use the best monastery water, selected malts and the finest aromatic hops from all over the world as well as forest herbs and spices from the region. We use rare yeasts for fermentation and let the beers mature until they have achieved their unique, full taste.

In doing so, we are continuing the baroque tradition of monastery breweries and also making a valuable contribution to the life and preservation of the beautiful and unique baroque monastery in Fischingen, in the middle of green nature.

Martin Wartmann, co-founder of the Fischingen Monastery brewery and still an integral part of the most wonderful monastery brewery in Switzerland, is a fixture in the Swiss beer business and the 75-year-old is far from thinking about quitting! No wonder Martin is affectionately called “The Beer King of Lake Constance”!
